Bruins Win The Stanley Cup




The Bruins win the Stanley Cup in game 7 on the road in Vancouver.


The Bruins outplayed Vancouver and also outscored them 23-8 in the series. Despite some of the lopsided scoring at home, the
Bruins couldn't defeat Vanc
ouver at home. The series went the distance. Both teams winning their respected games at home. Boston would finally win on the road. This was the Bruins 3rd game 7 victory of the playoffs. That is a record for the most game 7 wins in one playoff run. Game 7 was an indicator of the series. The Bruins were truly the
better team and deserving of the victory.


Tim Thomas was named the Conn Smythe Trophy winner as the Playoff MVP. He was also named the Vezina Trophy Winner as the League Most Outstanding Goaltender.
The Bruins are the second winningest American Franchise taking home the Cup 6 times. The Detroit Red Wings have won the Cup 11 times.

The Cup will likely never be raised any higher than it was this year. When Bruins Captain Zedeno Chara 6'9" lifted the Cup.
